The Journal of Natural Remedies (JNR) welcomes submissions of original research articles, review articles, and short communications that make a clear and meaningful contribution to the science of natural remedies. The journal considers manuscripts in areas such as medicinal plants, herbal medicines, pharmacognosy, phytochemistry, ethnopharmacology, natural product pharmacology, toxicology, standardization, quality assurance, formulation, and preclinical or clinical studies of natural therapeutic agents.
Each submission is screened by the editorial team before peer review. Manuscripts must demonstrate relevance to the journal, scientific originality, sound methodology, ethical compliance, and clear reporting. Papers may be declined at the editorial stage if they fall outside the journal’s scope, lack novelty, present weak experimental design, provide inadequate analytical characterization, or contain conclusions that are not supported by the data.
Authors must submit only original work that is not under review elsewhere. All authors must approve the submission and accept responsibility for the integrity of the work. Any material reproduced from other sources must be used with appropriate permission. Ethical approval, informed consent, and animal welfare compliance must be stated where applicable.
JNR expects manuscripts to be prepared to a high scholarly standard. Authors should provide a concise and informative title, a self-contained abstract, accurate keywords, transparent methods, and a balanced discussion grounded in the study findings. For studies involving plant materials or natural products, authors should report clear identification, source, preparation, and analytical or experimental details sufficient for scientific evaluation and reproducibility.
Authors should review all submission requirements carefully before submitting. Careless, incomplete, or weakly supported manuscripts will not be prioritized for review.
