Publication Ethics

Publication Ethics

The Journal of Natural Remedies (JNR) expects the highest standards of integrity from authors, reviewers, and editors. Submission to the journal implies that the work is original, scientifically honest, and ethically conducted.

The journal does not accept plagiarism, duplicate submission, redundant publication, fabricated or falsified data, manipulated images, misleading reporting, or inappropriate authorship practices. All authors must have made a substantial academic contribution, approved the submitted manuscript, and agreed to be accountable for the accuracy and integrity of the work.

Authors must ensure that studies involving humans, animals, clinical materials, or natural resources have been conducted in accordance with relevant ethical standards and regulatory requirements. Ethical approval, informed consent, and welfare considerations must be stated where applicable. Studies on medicinal plants, herbal preparations, or natural compounds must include clear information on identification, source, processing, and analytical or experimental methods.

Reviewers and editors are required to treat manuscripts confidentially, declare conflicts of interest, and evaluate submissions objectively and fairly. Editorial decisions are based on scientific merit, originality, relevance, and ethical compliance.

The journal will investigate suspected misconduct seriously. Proven breaches of publication ethics may result in editorial rejection, publication of corrections, retraction of articles, suspension of future submissions, or notification of the authors’ institutions or relevant bodies.
